One writer's struggle with completion.

last night I was asked out on a date.

It's true, a date. Me. It was awkward, to say the least, so I made a joke of it and let it go. Luckily it was on the phone and not in real life. But, of course, I'm making the connection with my story in my head and here on the virtual page.
I've been re-working chapter two, and I'm sort of stuck on where to go with it. Originally it was set two years behind the first chapter, but after countless workshops informing me that it was more confusing than anything, I've decided to move it up to the present time. Essentially I had to cut about twenty-two pages and write all new stuff. And I was unable to find a way to end the chapter, and now that this whole date thing's come up, I think I'll go with that.
A 300-lb. lady gets asked out. I'm looking forward to it.
